This week, Hussman School of Journalism and Media graduates will represent a proud part of the 2020 graduating class of 4,053 undergraduates and 2,350 graduate students at Carolina. Watch as some alumni and campus community members welcome graduates to the next chapter of their Tar Heel experience.
UNC Hussman students, along with the entire Carolina community, have faced challenges during the COVID-19 crisis, and have met many of them with innovation and ingenuity. Courtney Decker ’20 looks back on her time at UNC Hussman, ahead of her graduation this Spring.
UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media recognized 12 graduate students with awards and scholarships for their outstanding academic accomplishments. The recognitions, coming during UNC-Chapel Hill’s Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, highlighted the strength and breadth of UNC Hussman’s graduate programs.

Hi everyone, this is Alexa, social media intern for UNC Hussman, here to share some memories for LDOC ‘20. Even though this school year is ending with a rather unique LDOC, we have many wonderful memories to look back on as a school. I think we can all agree that the lessons we learned and the friends we made in Carroll Hall and on this campus will last for years to come.
